
Sandy Hughes,
owner and principal consultant, has over 25 years Human Resources,
Organization Development, and training experience and more than 15 years experience with Total Quality and Six Sigma.
Sandy received
certification as the first Human Resources Six Sigma Black Belt while at Honeywell. She is
also a
highly skilled Executive Coach and facilitator. Hughes-Consulting clients are
small to medium-sized businesses that
cover the gamut
from for-profit to not-for-profit to governmental
organizations.
Sandy has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Masters of Science
Degree in Human Resources Management.
She is on
the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors
for the St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce and is Vice Chair of the Chamber's
Business Support Division.
She is a past
Board Member of the Northshore Region Human Resource Association (SHRM).
She has also been adjunct faculty at Tulane University's School of Continuing
Studies.
Sandy is a business consultant for the Louisiana Association of Non-Profit
Organizations
(LANO)
and has successfully led a client organization through LANO's
Standard for Excellence certification program. Sandy has recently been
elected to LANO's Board of Directors.
Sandy has
taught AchieveGlobal, Stephen Covey, and Ken Blanchard programs and
has designed and facilitated workshops on Visioning, Strategic Planning,
Accelerating Change, Communications, Leadership Skills, Team Facilitation, Total
Quality, and Six Sigma. She has also developed and delivered programs
